What do I need before I apply?
To apply for a loan, you'll need:
- Valid and working phone number
- Proof of most recent income information
- Valid US. Government issued photo ID or driver's license
- Proof of routing and account number from an open and active check account, must be active for at least 30 days.
- Official documentation of Social Security Number (AL, IN, OK only)

How does the loan process work?
Our loans and other services vary, so depending on how you want to apply (online, in store, or over the phone where available), things will be a little bit different. But generally speaking:
- Apply
Simply submit your application with all of the necessary requirements.
- Get a Decision
Your information will then go through our underwriting process. This will help determine your loan eligibility and, if approved, will dictate your rates and loan amounts.
- Loan Acceptance
Once you’re approved, you will be provided with the proposed loan amount, loan rate, due dates, and any other relevant information needed for you to make a decision.
- Receiving Funding
After you accept your terms and originate your Loan Agreement, funding is typically provided the following business day if you applied online, or typically the same day if you applied in person.
- Repayment
Payments are made in accordance with the terms of the Loan Agreement.

I received a call from a Law Firm stating that they had to give me summons paper for a complaint made against your property from

This number ###-###-#### called other family members associated with me, providing them with a case number. When I called back they stated they are ******** *** collecting debt for check n go and that a complaint was filed against me. I have never had an account with check n go! This is not okay that they are harassing people in this manner especially when it isn’t legitimate! I called them back and informed them that I was making a formal request that they do not contact me or anyone else associated with me and they hung up.

ChecknGo gave someone pretending to be me a loan for $1250 cash on 1/22/25, im not sure how this individual was privy to my personal information but all i know is i carry a duplicate driver's license that was issued to me back in 2023 due to my original being lost. I have reached out to the store on 4th street where the loan was given and they gave me a number for the corporate FEEDBACK line several times and it wasn't until i actually went into my bank to put a stop payment on the payments did i receive a number to actually speak to a supervisor that informed me that they were only dealing with online accts and not accts in the store, i have a lot of things going on in my life one is trying to get back on my feet from depression due to losing a child and raising a grandchild so when i seen the $143.01 coming out of my acct i thought it was one of my payments to ****** that i have been using to buy food to get us from pay to pay but then one day i had a chance to look at my statement cause ****** was sending messages that my payments were late. i reached out to Checkngo and to no avail no help and i called the local police to do a report of ID Theft cause this isn't the only case that is in my name that i didn't do and also reached out to ********** ****** ********* that advised me to continue to pay until they get done with their investigation which came back to say that it was me but they only verified my name and information nothing below the surface with that i put a stop payment on it and have reached out to the attorney general office that only offered me a new passport and they have so far taken over $1700 from me and i have NEVER walked into their store, i also have accts with **** and ********** and a few others that i need to fight but i have sent my police report number to them but they are still disregarding everything i am saying and anything that i do, they are basically ruining my credit and my life, if i had went and got money from them i would pay!

I got an installment loan from CHECK N GO. On August 29, 2025, I went with my Brother ***** to pay off the loan in full. I spoke with C****** (loan officer), and she took a lump sum payment of $2092 from my Brother's debt card. She informed me that a payment of $831.86 was denied for insufficient funds on Aug 29th and had to wait for it to come back before they could resubmit the transaction. She indicated that the payment should be back by September 3rd at which time she would resubmit the payment to **** ** *******. Once that payment cleared, the account would be rendered paid in full. On Oct 1, 2025, my Bank made a payment of $831.86 to CHECK N GO. On October 8, 2025, my brother and I went to Check N Go to pick up a receipt of payment in full. It was then that I was informed that the payment for Sept 3rd didn't go through. She stated that they resubmitted the transaction to the Bank, but that it was kicked back again. I contacted my Bank (**** ** *******) and was informed that there was no record of Check N Go requesting payment or resubmitting a request for payment on September 3rd or for September 2025. My Bank indicated that they allow up to two requests for payment after the initial request. Because Check N Go failed or neglected to resubmit the transaction, I had no choice but to pay an additional $1460.30 to close out the account. I believe that the transaction on Sept 3rd should be investigated, and I should be refunded the additional $1460.30 I had to pay. I am a senior citizen and feel that I was taken advantage of.
